The scientific community maintains that 80% of adults experience back pain (or lumbalgia) during their lives. Back pain strikes mainly people of working age, and consequently causes high costs in terms of medical expenses and lost working days.
Postural gymnastic is an effective means to fight back pain. Painful symptoms deriving from various causes, such as incorrect position maintained for long periods, sedentary lifestyle, muscular retraction, heavy exertion, and traumatic events, can be reduced or eliminated completely thanks to particular postural exercises of stretching and muscular reinforcement which act in synergy.
After fifteen years of research and personal experience I have designed a program of postural exercises ( the “protocollofrancesconi”) which, in an easy to follow DVD ( + booklet), teaches simple exercises, which do not require special equipment, and can be carried out in the comfort of one’s own home.
20 people suffering from lumbalgia were asked to complete 3 tests approved by scientific community (VAS, ROLAND MORRIS and TSK) before and after having carried out for month the exercises of antalgic postural gymnastic as prescribed by the “protocollofrancesconi”.
The result evidence a significant reduction in painful symptoms and of the disability.
